Cadettes are troop #2219. They are Girl Scouts from Grade 6 through 8th. They participate in Girl Scouting in many ways. Girls mix and match activities and resources to suit their needs while giving back to their communities. They connect with each other and build self-esteem and confidence in their skills as they work on a range of projects and gain life experiences.

We are currently working on our girl scout Journey book. Some of us will be working on earning our Silver Awards. We are also writing letters to ask Girl Scouts to take the palm oil out of Girl Scout cookies. Rainforests are destroyed to make room for palm plantations. This reduction in habitat is contributing to the extinction of the orangutan.
